As I am moving entries that I have posted here to over there, I am deleting them from here. So, you may (or may not) have noticed the number of articles on here is slowly diminishing. In the end, all that is left will be this post.

So, I started this great journey… I left this blog for a different provider. Then I started coding a website, and then I started making a website on a few different places like weebly, and then I came back to wordpress…. and I started a new blog and played around with it and things are turning out the way I want them to. So, I ended up back at wordpress but I have a different URL and name for the site and myself now. You can read all about that at over there…

“The one that I find most important is the mic that is installed by default. I use it for composing. I bought a voice recorder for composing purposes but it was difficult to use. The iPhone one is easier to use and the sound is good. So there’s a lot in there. I just take this with me and go to the park to write lyrics.”

Q: Today was also the release date for live DVD “VAMPS LIVE 2009″! What kind of DVD is it?

Someone like me with a 30 year history as a traffic guard has fallen in love for the first time.

It was some time ago.

As always, I arrived at the intersection near the neighborhood elementary school at 7 AM. There is a lot of traffic during this time, and before I organized the traffic, the elementary school’s PTA fathers had taken turns organizing traffic. However, they became too busy and the intersection was left to me, who raises “Pedestrians are No. 1!” as his motto.

That day, I was helping the elementary school children cross the road at 7 AM as usual….
Their young faces are truly splendid in the morning! When the young ones greet me, “Good morning,” even I feel fresh.

It was the second time I used Ako-san’s slightly worn portable ashtray. After I handed back her ashtray, Ako-san quickly crossed the road and left.

At 8:30 AM, I finished my job and went to the office in my work clothes for my paycheck.
My mind was full with thoughts about what kind of gift would make her happy.

After receiving my paycheck, which I can’t say is a lot for someone my age, I headed to Shinjuku.

Now, where should I go. Choosing a present for a young woman is more difficult than any kind of equation…
After walking around for 11 hours, there was a store that mostly young people walked into.

The store has many simple yet stylish items that I have never seen before.

As I thought so, I saw an item that I knew would be perfect.

A silver portable ashtray.

… At the same time, I saw Ako-san’s happy face a few centimeters above the ashtray.

I decided to get the silver portable ashtray as her present.

With the item in hand, I got in line. The customer in front of me is a young man. It seems he is going to buy a cosmetics pouch.

Cashier: “Is this a present?”

Man: “Ah, yes.”

Cashier: “Would you like it wrapped?”

Man: “Ah, please.”

… I held the shopping bag with the Mujirushi-Ryouhin mark in one hand and left the store.
Having shopped at a young people’s store, I walked Shinjuku with light steps.

(I didn’t know your heart thumps this much when you buy a woman a present… (embarrassed))

It was that moment—-.

A woman I had seen before had just come out of a store called Tiffany?

“Naoya-♥ Are you really okay buying me such an expensive gift??♥”

Naoya: “Eh? It’s okay. It’s your birthday today!”

Ako: “I love you♥ Then look forward to your birthd… hey, you’re the traffic guard…!?”

Tatsumi: “… Ah… Ahhh no.. umm… yes. It’s you… Ako-san… good evening!”

Ako: “Good evening! What are you doing? … Ah, you were shopping! What did you get!?”

Tatsumi: “… Umm it… it’s nothing! Food… for my goldfish… ran… ran out!”

Ako: “You have goldfish!? How cute!”

Tatsumi: “Ah…Ahahaha”

Naoya: “Ako, who is this old guy?”

Ako: “Ah… He is the traffic guard that works by my elementary school!”

Naoya: “… I see… Let’s go.”

Ako: “Yea… yeah! Well, I’ll see you tomorrow!”

Tatsumi: “Ah… ahhh… yes!”

… I feel as though I’ve become a seedless cherry.

When people suffer from a broken heart, they often cry. That’s what they say, but strangely, there were no tears.

Instead, a feeling of getting something like a seed dug out of my heart remained.

—–The next day. As always, I left for work at the same time, managed the same traffic, greeted Ako-san as usual, and lit a cigarette after finishing the job.

Then, the city’s clean-up person scolded me.

But today I answer with a smile,

Tatsumi: “Ah, I have my own portable ashtray!”

I leisurely took out my silver portable ashtray and put out the cigarette.

I was scolded again. Smoking itself is forbidden.

——Then I went home, and made breakfast like usual. Although I like rice, after experiencing shopping at Mujirushi-Ryouhin, I felt younger than usual, so today’s breakfast was toast.
